Eligibility for Community Development Worker at South Dublin County Partnership

- Third level qualification in Community Development or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the community development sector
- Full understanding of child/vulnerable persons protection regulations
- Experience in designing and delivering community projects
- Excellent administrative and IT skills
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Provide support to community groups to identify needs and develop projects
- Engage community groups in local, regional, and national structures
- Raise awareness of inequality and exclusion issues
- Support the establishment of local community groups
- Build relationships with community groups and service providers
- Plan and coordinate meetings and events
- Manage a limited budget
- Perform general administrative duties
