Eligibility for Aya at Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan

Requirements

Minimum of a Primary School Education.
Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience, preferably within healthcare.
Basic knowledge of infection control and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with feeding, bathing, dressing and mobility under the supervision of Nursing staff.

Clean and disinfect ward washrooms and handwashing facilities.
Replace bedding and linen and maintain adequate stocks of clean linen.
Segregate and dispose of clinical and non-clinical waste.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Assist in preparing beds and essential supplies for new patient admissions.
